By accessing or using the Fire Island Pines app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including our zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
You may register using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App. You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it.
Certain features require access to your location. You may disable location services, but some features may not function properly without it.
Business listings in the Directory are provided for informational purposes. We do not endorse or guarantee any listed business.
You may block other users at any time. We reserve the right to investigate reports of misconduct and take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
The Fire Island Pines App is a platform that enables users to connect with one another. The App does not provide, endorse, verify, or guarantee any services, users, or transactions conducted through the platform.
Any agreement, transaction, or interaction between users is solely between those users. You acknowledge and agree that you are fully responsible for evaluating the other party, conducting any necessary due diligence, and assuming all risks associated with such interactions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Fire Island Pines App, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, or disputes arising out of or related to your interactions with other users, including but not limited to fraud, misrepresentation, personal injury, property damage, or failure of performance.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fire Island Pines App and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your interactions with other users.
Any posting that advertises, offers, or solicits a service that is illegal under applicable law will be removed, and the user responsible may be permanently blocked from the platform.
For any service involving a trade or profession that requires a license in the State of New York, we reserve the right to require the poster to provide their professional license number to the App's operators for verification against the New York State database of licensed professionals. Examples of licensed trades include, but are not limited to: attorneys, barbers and cosmetologists, pet groomers, real estate agents and brokers, HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, and notaries public.
Failure to provide a valid license number upon request may result in removal of the posting and suspension or termination of the user's account.
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
