Violations will result in immediate removal of content and ejection from the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Fire Island Pines app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including our zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Account Registration

You may register using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Post content that is illegal, offensive, or violates others' rights
Impersonate any person or entity
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Use the App to spam or send unsolicited messages
Share content depicting minors

5. Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App. You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it.

6. Location Services

Certain features require access to your location. You may disable location services, but some features may not function properly without it.

7. Directory Listings

Business listings in the Directory are provided for informational purposes. We do not endorse or guarantee any listed business.

8. Blocking and Reporting

You may block other users at any time. We reserve the right to investigate reports of misconduct and take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
